OUR CONTRACTS

PIKA and Malcolm Pirnie JVs are very fortunate to have been selected for four Task Order type contracts since 2007.  Below is a description of each contract.

U.S. Air Force Air Education and Training Center, Architectural and Engineering Environmental Services, Contract No. FA3002-08-D-0001

With a cumulative ceiling of $200M between four awarded contracts, this ID/IQ Task Order contract is the only 8(a) award and has a basic 12 month ordering period with nine option years with the period of performance extending two years beyond the ordering period.  Task Orders will be issued under this ID/IQ contract for Title I, Title II, Other A-E Services, and technical support for the Environmental Restoration, Pollution Prevention, Compliance and Conservation Programs primarily for AETC bases nationwide and, on a non-interference basis, other DoD installations and locations where there is primary USAF responsibility.  Services anticipated for this contract include, but are not limited to:

  • Preparation of Various Environmental Impact Statements (EIS)
  • Environmental Assessments (EA)
  • Environmental Baseline Surveys (EBS)
  • Natural, Cultural, and Historical Resource Studies
  • Environmental, Safety, and Occupational Health Assessment and Management Program Compliance and Management Program (ESOHCAMP) (environmental audits)
  • Environmental Compliance and Installation Restoration Program (IRP) design, surveys, and studies
  • Long Term Operations and Monitoring (LTO/M)

U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, New Orleans District, ID/IQ Contract for General Design Support Services, Multidisciplinary Services, and Construction Management Services, Primarily within the Limits of the New Orleans District, Contract No. W912P8-08-D-0024

This SB set aside contract is valued at $50M over a five-year period of one base year plus four option years.   Established on a Task Order basis, services under this A-E contract are wide-ranging and include, but are not limited to, the following:

U.S. Army Joint Munitions and Lethality LCMC, Munitions Response Actions, Picatinny Arsenal, New Jersey, Contract No. W15QKN-07-D-0025

This sole-source 8(a) contract is valued at $3.5M over a 36-month period and is an ID/IQ contract specifically for services to locate, remove, and destroy all Munitions and Explosives of Concern (MEC), Munitions Constituents (MC), and munitions debris (MD) from current and former ranges and disposal sites.  In addition, the JV provides support for overall inventories, range assessments, programmatic studies, and work plans, as well as other planning activities in support of range programs for the Department of Defense (DoD).

U.S. Naval Facilities Command, Southwest Division (NAVFAC SW) Performance-Base Range Sustainment and Remediation Environmental Multiple Award Contract (RSREMAC) for Various Locations Nationwide, Contract No. N62473-09-D-2618

On March 11, 2009, the JV was awarded one of four contracts for the NAVFAC SW RSREMAC, covering range sustainment and environmental remediation in the SW Division’s seven state area of responsibility (CA, AZ, NV, CO, UT, NM, OR) and other DoD or Federal installations nationwide. This Small Business set-aside contract allows the JV to bid for Task Orders issued up to a value of $100,000,000.  The services to be acquired include performing range sustainment and remediation activities predominately at Navy and Marine Corps installations and may include other Government agencies.

The contract focuses on range sustainment projects such as range residue (defined as ordnance scrap and target debris) clearance and processing/recycling, but also could involve environmental work such as remediation or compliance projects. In addition to range maintenance services, other services required under this contract may include but not be limited to range component design, range closure, construction, maintenance, small arms range maintenance and or closure, alteration, renovation, new construction, hazardous, toxic, radiological waste (HTRW) or a combination thereof.
